Tombstone, Arizona Territory

During spending time in Crystal Palace Saloon Spencer Price found out Fancy Finley had spoken badly about Gifford again. Finley has spoken about how Gifford supported Lawrence in his criminal activities, was responsible for stolen cattle on the Mexican border and initiated the stagecoach attack. Gifford, Lorne Frush and Josiah Foster try to reassure Price and tell him that there will always be bad and wrong stories of men working for McLaren. McLaren asked Gifford for help when it came to the safety of the county, but all of these activities were extremely hypocritical, Gifford told Price. Price replies he would like to know what's behind it. He then tells Gifford and his men that he will ride to Tombstone. If Finley is not here in Fitzgerald’s Whiskey Distillery, he spends time with his friends in Lamberton Hall or in Charleston. But Price will certainly not ride to Charleston. Anyone looking for problems there will certainly find them, but won't get very far, Gifford told him a few weeks after his arrival. There are no incidents there because everyone sticks together. If you have any problems, you will go to prison or worse: you won't even come out of the saloon, said Josiah Foster. Lorne Frush asks Price if he needs his help, but Price politely declines.

Spencer Price rides past the Fisher Vonleh Overland Mail coach and is heading for Lamberton Hall. Lamberton Hall is a saloon and is known for having performing the area's most popular artists.

After turning the carriage in Tombstone, it stops at the Fisher Vonleh branch. Jocelyn Shanley, Mitch Meanor and another passenger get out of the carriage. Mitch Meanor is a bounty hunter from St. George, Utah, who heard of the unreal huge reward and came to the county to find Keogh and Stubbs.

Price rides past the Crown Gallery and plans to tie up his horse in front of Lamberton Hall, but before entering the saloon he wants to get some information from Domingo Minobelli. Tilda Tildesley has visited several locations in the Cochise County in the past few weeks and she liked it best in Tombstone, so she decided to open her art gallery here. Isaac Pennington visits her often to take care of her a little.

Price recognizes how he is obviously being observed by two men who are in front of the Hotel Samoyiensky. However, he cannot assign these men exactly.

Since he wants to be sure that Finley is really visiting Lamberton Hall, he goes to Minobelli's ice cream shop across the street. There he meets Jocelyn Shanley, whom he finds extremely attractive. He asks Domingo Minobelli if he has observed that McLaren's men are in the city. Minobelli replies that he watched Finley enter the saloon about an hour ago. Price finishes enjoying his ice cream and is afterwards going directly to Lamberton Hall. He also tells Shanley he would not mind to see her again.

Price heads for Lamberton Hall. Blake Winterburn watches the incoming Price and wonders what he's up to. He now knows quite well who Price is. He was often the subject of Oury's and Cardenas' conversations. Price is suspecting, that man, who sitting in front of Lamberton Hall could be one of McLaren's men. He is looking at him and tells him: “I have no idea who you are, but if you should move after I entered this saloon, I can guarantee you, you definitely are never able to move again. Just stay there and nothing will happen to you! "He also says to Winterburn:" If the man follows me into the saloon, please warn me. I am going to be busy, wrecking up these men who are inside. ”Winterburn nods in agreement.

Fancy Finley, as reported by Domingo Minobelli, is in the saloon and is in the company of Ernest Barbey and Ernesto Dominguez, who works at McLaren's Black Diamond Mine. The Lamberton Hall is a music house where hip artists can be admired on weekends. During the week it serves as a saloon where Finley spends a lot of his time.

Spencer Price enters the saloon and hits Finley with the grip of his revolver. Finley doesn't even see the attacking Price and has no chance of defending himself in any way.

Price then pulls his second revolver and points it at Ernest Barbey. Barbey and Dominguez have no way of helping their friend.

When Finley doubles up on the floor in pain from Price, the latter tells him: "You are talking too much, Finley!" At the same moment, the rushly arriving deputy sheriffs Norman Roeder and Elijah Cooper are standing in the entrance of the saloon. Roeder heard someone screaming and knew something must have happened. They point their guns at Price and ask him to put his guns back in his holster and leave the saloon. Price replies, “Don't worry, I was about to leave.

Norman Roeder and Elijah Cooper talk to Price. They both know that he works for Gifford, who is a welcome guest in Tombstone. Sheriff Lockwood is in Benson right now, so they don't know exactly how to act. Of course, they also know that Fancy Finley is not a child of sadness. They explain Price he should leave town and when he arrives in Watervale he should give report to the Marshal there. “So at least we know you have moved away from the city. We refrain from jailing you, but please do not come back to Tombstone for now. Price agrees and thanks the deputies.

Bounty hunter Mitch Meanor heads for Charleston. He has heard in the Eurasian Jay Saloon that Charleston is a place where he can get information that will help him.

Eugene Fisher witnessed the happenings and saw what happened when he was sitting in the hotel across the street. He tells the cattle baron Rutherford Mowbray what exactly happened. Mowbray has the largest ranch in Arizona near Willcox. He is appalled that the deputies simply let Price left.

Sheriff Lockwood has returned from Benson. The annual poker tournament at the Molinette Hotel will soon take place in Benson. He has a good connection to Benson's Marshal Buckley Bloomberg and has discussed a few organizational matters with him. Mainly it was about security issues on the four days that the tournament takes place. Norman Roeder tells him what happened at Lamberton Hall a few hours ago. Lockwood understands his Deputies didn't put Price into jail, because Gifford has a huge influence here and we just don't wanna have him angry. But he would have been happy to have talked to him personally. Elijah Cooper tells Lockwood that Finley will accompany McLaren to Benson. If we're unlucky, Price is there too. "Maybe Zachary Pine will also coming by." says Roeder. "We just have to be vigilant and guard the city as best we can." We are going to show them who's the boss in Cochise County. "Lockwood replies.
