Bisbee, Arizona Territory

Stewart Cassidy and Howard Mutch are happy to see Francis Oury return. M&Cs has become Oury's favorite place, so he spends most of his time in Bisbee with the coffee men.

Francis Oury and Indian Charlie arrive in Bisbee. Cardenas, Winterburn and Stockwell initially rode to Contention to pick up Auguste Delacroix. Oury and his men decided, it would be better if the entire group isn't permanently together, as it causes a lot of attention.

On the opposite side of the street you can see the Land Office by Hank E. Hanson. Hanson is also called Hanky maps because he has documents and measurements of the entire county, in which the property rights are regulated. Hanson is a close friend of Gifford who believes in him and trusts him completely. Oury wanted to talk to Hanson to get a better look of the situation in the County and the latests happenings. Hanson actually only visits the Crystal Palace Saloon, but now he follows Oury's invitation and will meet him at M&Cs.

In the recent past when a stagecoach arrives in Bisbee, it has often been the case a bounty hunter, who hears about the reward that will be given for capturing the stagecoach robbers, arrived.

Culture enthusiasts often visit Bisbee, because of the regular concerts and dance events here.

The blacksmith Josiah Foster, who lives and works for Gifford Ranch, is preparing to take the horses of Oury and Indian Charlie.

Oury and Indian Charlie talk to Lorne and Arleigh Frush. They are married to each other, also live on Giffords Ranch and work for him. Together with Stanley Hodges they support the blacksmith in Bisbee. They try to find out which goal the two bounty hunter are pursuing. Charles Gifford is particularly worried because of Oury.

Howard Mutch and Stewart Cassidy are now people whom Oury trusts. He tells them that he plans to ride to Charleston in a few days. He also tells the coffee moguls that he invited Hank Hanson to their store. He tries to get some information and a conversation with Giffort as a result of Hansons help. Mutch and Cassidy are surprised, the people who have their shop directly opposite are more likely to visit the Crystal Palace Saloon to drink their coffee. Hanson, Thackery, Owens and Buchanon are all people who really never come to us, says Mutch.

Hanson is welcomed by the two coffee men. Hanson tells them, they should not take his rare appearance in their shop personally. "I went to the Crystal Palace saloon from the start. If I like something and I'm happy with it, why should I change it? I don't like people who are never satisfied and always want more." Mutch replies: “But wouldn't it be a way to try at least something new to find out what's behind it. In retrospect, you can still decide whether you like it or not. "Hanson replies, there is kind of a danger included. Cassidy asks him what kind of danger he is talking about and Hanson replies that it turns things upside down and he could disappoint the owners of the saloon. "I am satisfied with their coffee and I like it very much, so you shouldn't count on me." Cassidy says, he didn't want to come to town to convince people that their coffee is the better one, and Mutch then interrupts immediately and says, he thinks, if you’re in a business and produces so much coffee to please people, you’ll automatically have to be convinced that you’re product is the best out there.
Oury says competition is stimulating business. That keeps you fit and active. You want to be better. That is your aspiration. Monopoly positions fill you up, but you are so full that you can hardly move and sadly you don't have to.
Oury then tells Hanson, he would be happy to have Hanson accompany him to Charleston and Gifford's Ranch. Hanson agrees, but announces, he will tell Gifford about Ourys plans so he will not be unprepared. Oury replies that good preparation has never harmed anyone.
