He is supported by the former dentist and killer Doc Philips.

Also the US Marshal of Arizona, Charles Mooney, rides with his deputies, Luke Vernon and Thomas Ingalls, to Fairbank. Actually, he was on the way to Bisbee because of the stagecoach raid. Now he is taking the opportunity to ask about recent events in Fairbank. He wants to talk to Marshal Ruffin Tidball, because he heard about the fact that his intervention took an unusually long time when MichaelBuston was attacked in the Saloon. The County Sheriff Grayson Lockwood told Mooney that he will has his full support.

Tilmothy Meade and Joseph Hamilton also arrived in Fairbank. Both are massively reviled by Scout Ulyssess Stockwell. Stockwell supports Francis Oury in his mission in Cochise County. He saw together with Indian Charlie what exactly was happened when Michael Buston was attacked. Stockwell threatens both and tells them that he will personally ensure that they get their equitable punishment.

When Tilmothy Meade is telling Stockwell that they can clarify their case right here on the road, Marshal Tidball is arriving and tries to reconcible . Also some soldiers of the army try to calm the situation.

Stockwell accuses the Marshal that he intentionally did nothing against the gang and was not at the crime scene, until Michael Buston had already left the city. When Stockwell left the city with Indian Charlie, he had seen Tidball, his deputy, and an Arizona ranger waiting in front of the Marshall's Office. The dispute between Stockwell and the Marshal is extremely loud, so that many people have gathered around the dispute.

Lewis Carter and Edward Williams watch the situation, with a good overview, from the roof of a house. Carter says to Williams: "I hope they all blow each other away!"

In addition, US Marshal Mooney could be glad that he can simply act like this. The law states that he in his position as US Marshal in a city like Fairbank has no rights. When I don't judge here then only the County Sheriff is doing that. Mooney says he knows about that, but it's ridiculous in his eyes to contact County Sheriff Grayson Lockwoos for a interrogation. "Lockwood already told me that I have his full support." Tidball then replies that everything has been resolved for him anyway, and that he think he has comprehensive answered the questions of the US Marshal.

Isaac Comstock tells his partner Eliphalet Meadon that Van Molen has arrived in the city. Maybe they should get together with Van Molen and his partner.
