Denver, Colorado
Cochise County, Arizona Territory

En route from St. Louis (Missouri) to Reno (Nevada) is the Western Express stagecoach. The coachman, Lotan Reddick, is supported by Pinkerton detective Charlie Hubbard. On board of the carriage is the bounty hunter Christopher Van Molen, who heard of the incident in Fairbank, in which Michael Buston was attacked and expelled. Van Molen and Buston have known each other for a very long time. They met for the first time when Van Molen visited Abilene (Kansas) in 1874 to find wanted cattle thieves. Van Molen comes from Denver and is now on his way to Arizona territory with the carriage. The former dentist "Doc" Philips will pick him up in Bisbee. Philips was telegraphed by the Carson family, which has her farm near Charles Gifford's ranch. The farmers saw Greg Lawrence several times at the ranch of Charles Gifford. In addition, he was seen there together with Wayne Pescoe, of whom Philips knows that he was definitely involved in the attack on Buston. Pescoe talked about it at the Crystal Palace Saloon in Bisbee.

Tilda Tildesley is waiting at the Wells Fargo station in Cherry Creek (Denver). She studied art at Cornell University and, with sponsorship moneys from art enthusiasts, had an art gallery built in Denver, where she settled. After the mayor of Bisbee, Charles Gifford, was extremely enthusiastic about the gallery when he visited it during a stay in Colorado, he asked Tildesley if she could imagine opening up a similar gallery in Bisbee. Now she is on her way to Arizona to talk with Gifford about his idea.

While Lotan Reddick charges the baggage of Tilda Tildesley, Hubbard, Van Molen, and the US Marshal of Colorado are talking about recently released wanted posters. Hubbard says, "If you wanna become rich with them, then you have to go to Arizona." Van Molen tells him that this is exactly his plan.

Van Molen and Tildesley will leave the carriage in Salt Lake City. There they will continue their journey to Bisbee with the Wells Fargo stagecoach no. 4.

The stagecoach No. 4 reaches the Wells Fargo headquarters, south of Bisbee. Here the coaches are waiting. In addition, the drivers spend the Sundays here, on which is rest day.

Doc Philips, a former dentist from Tulsa (Oklahoma), welcomes Christopher Van Molen. Both will meet with the Carson family near Charleston.

Pernell, Michael, Lorne and Dan Carson have their ranch next to Charles Gifford's ranch. Michael Carson is sure that he saw Greg Lawrence a few times near the farm. Lawrence was the only unmasked robber of a gang which was robbing a money transport near Deming (New Mexico). Since then, Lawrence is being wanted in New Mexico as well. Doc Philips is interested in the money for Lawrence and Van Molen wants revenge for the attack on Buston.

Lorne Carson offers both bounty hunters to stay for a few days at their ranch. But both decide to go to Fairbank, because Van Molen would like to speak with the Marshal of the town.

Zachary Pine has arrived the Wells Fargo headquarters a few minutes ago. He heard from an employee of Wells Fargo that recently two bounty hunters had arrived who inquired about Charles Gifford and Greg Lawrence.

A few moments ago Howard Mutch arrived with the stagecoach from Chicago, who is owning ,together with Stewart Cassidy, the coffee company "Mutch and Cassidys". Their M&C's Coffee is extremely popular. Charles Gifford convinced the entrepreneurs to establish a coffee house in Bisbee as well. Stewart Cassidy has already arrived in Cochise County a few days ago. Their coffee house will be opened in the upcoming days. The citizens of Bisbee will be delighted.
